Max and Nina run the smallest 24-hour desk in the business — a studio you could hold in one hand, reporting on stories too big for anyone to hold at all. Oil breaking $100. AI labs disagreeing about their own pace. A rocket launch that made a miniature astronaut sprint straight through the set.

Nobody told the crew the newsroom would be this small, and it shows. Somewhere off-camera, something is always going wrong — a mic drops, a graphic freezes, someone asks out loud whether the computers are listening. The broadcast keeps going anyway. That's the joke and the point: the news doesn't wait for the newsroom to be ready.
