Every system on the island does one job. Badly.

The vibe filter picks a mood and commits too hard. The smart home locks itself into a decision. The bio-printer takes "surprise me" as a personal challenge. The mirror, when asked how you look, tells you — all of it, immediately, with sources.

Nobody on the island signed up to be an AI beta tester. They just wanted dinner, or a nap, or a quiet morning. What they got instead is a running argument with infrastructure that's technically working exactly as designed.

Every glitch starts as a feature. That's the whole show.

Who's running the island

Two things are always in the room.

System

The Island

Whatever appliance is on duty that episode — filter, fridge, mirror, printer. It always does exactly what it was asked. That's the problem.

Human

The Resident

Whoever made the request. Reasonable ask, unreasonable outcome, and nowhere to file a complaint except directly at the machine.

Recurring

The Glitch

Not a bug — the moment the gap between intention and execution becomes impossible to ignore. Every episode has one. It's always the funniest part.
